WordPress 7.1 brings many positive changes to the WordPress platform, but also a slightly frustrating one: Changing how editing ACF blocks is performed.
Formerly, you could edit much of a block’s content by clicking the block, and then using the central area of the screen. Now the editing experience has moved to the right hand panel, and this can often be very cramped.
To solve this issue, as Pooka & Co look after WordPress and Plugin updates for all of our charity clients, we have taken the pre-emptive action of adding an ‘Open Expanded Editor’ button to all of our websites.

You can click this new button to open an expanded editing area. From here simply make your edits, click ‘Done’ to close the panel, and then click ‘Save’ to save your page.
You can watch a short video of this at the top of the page.
As ever, please get in touch with us at Pooka if there’s anything we can assist with.
